February 15 2008 - NOW THAT WAS SWEET

Refer to Tanis's blog for a picture, but after school, around 4:30, I recieved the sweetest gift. Not that the other sweet cards and notes and gifts that I recieved on Valentines Day weren't special, but this was the sweetest in a different way. I recieved a little pink and white wrist crosage with a little note reading "Your Dad made me do it". It was from my Dad's brother, Uncle Darcy. We have always been close to him and his family and it seems more so since our Dad's death. Seriously one of the most thoughtful things I've recieved and sure brightened my day. I wore it around that night and even shared it with my little girls! What fun! Thanks Uncle Darcy (and Aunt Debbie) for doing this for my sisters and I, but also for remebering and just keeping the memories alive!
