Friday May 25 2007 - SO IT'S ABOUT TIME....
that I write again. So much has happened for us lately. I don't really know why I am blogging, cause this is old news for any family reading this....but we are expecting and moving. (Expecting to move and expecting a baby...just to clarify). So I'm sure we are having a little girl again and I'm excited for the fun new changes that will bring. Brooklyn will have to give up her spot as baby of the family and make way for a new little one. I'm sure this will be crushing for her, though we've got a ways to go yet so hopefully we'll get her ready for this.
We've got our home up for sale...and are moving to Cardston. I will much more excited about it all once this house sells. We've had a whopping 5 showings and no offers. It's only been a week so I know I need to chill out. You know we are in for a long haul when my words are echo'd in my childrens. Yesturday when I sent Mya and Ava down to clean up the little play kitchen I heard Mya say "I didn't play with this" and Ava said "Mya, we are a family and we have to work together even when we didn't make the mess". Wonder where they've heard that?
Not much else is new. Which is why I haven't even been blogging lately. I don't even know where my camera is...so there's no hope for pictures. Time is flying by though. It's hard to believe that school is almost over for the kids (I'm including Kendall in the lump of "kids"). Hopefully we'll make room for some playing this summer...besides just moving.
We will miss this place though and have really enjoyed living here for the past couple years. Mya asked me if we will have to still drive here to check our mail. Too cute to hear their worries and concerns about moving.
And speaking of mail, she was so cute...drawing a picture one morning (which is what she always does. She's such a little color-er and loves to sit for so long, making pictures etc. I've had to make a new bullitin board cause my fridge just couldn't hold all the pictures from these girls). Anyway, she makes this picture and then says she needs an envelope. I asked her who it was for and she said she wanted to mail it to Grandpa. Of course I assumed Grandpa Hardy so I got an envelope and she continued to decorate it up all cute and then asked me to mail it to Grandma Rausch. I guess she understood by the look I gave her because she immediately followed it up with "that way when Grandpa comes back alive again, he won't have an empty mail box in there....he'll look in and say..."Oh look I have mail"!" What a sweet little thought!
So, thats my post for today...short and sweet. Sure hope that the next time I write our house has sold in a bidding war!!! Wishful thinking right!!!!
