Tuesday November 21 2006 - Good Quote for the Day ....

In a talk given by Elder Neil A. Maxwell.... "You have been YOU for a long long time." and.... " the ultimate adoration, is emulation". Just thought I'd add a little quote for fun. We've got a busy day today, with parent teacher interviews tonight for Ava!!! dum da dum dum dum!!!!! On a busy scale, from 1 to 10 (with 1 being "not busy" and 10 being the "most busy") I'd have to rate my day today at a 6. Hopefully I'll get a lot accomplished but it's not one of those crazy crazy days so far (hopefully it will stay like that). I am ALL ABOUT SCALES. Even in high school I loved them and I suppose that's why I loved Nursing so much, because it's a profession that appreciates the use of scales in determining where the patients level of comfort is etc. I use it quite a bit at home too. It seems to be a real good indicator for me...and Ava and Mya think it's fun (and I like to think they are getting smarter at their numbers too, though I've thought about extending the scale so we can work on the 20's). Kendall is so used to it that I'll just say... " On a frustrated sc..." and he'll immediately inturrupt and say "10...a solid 10". Anyway, hope that all of your days are at least an 8 or above on a "Good Day" scale today!!!!
