Sunday February 3 2008 - AVA'S BAPTISM

Here are a few shots from our Baptism and Blessing this weekend. It was good...and yet extra busy...to combine the two, but it was nice for Dane and Ava to share their special days together!!!! I can't help but tear up just looking back at these photos. Mya was cute as she watched her sister be baptized and said (quite loudly)...."Awesome Ava".and again.."Ava's Awesome...." in her sweet little pixie voice of hers. I'm glad Ava set an example and that Mya is so eager to follow. Today when I was talking to Brooklyn about it...she would act out being baptized and then say "Your turn Mommy" wanting me to reenact what she saw last night as well. What a special day for our family. Seriously, Chad got this shot and he appologized for the lighting...but honestly...could you have caught a more precious moment???? I love it!!!!

(Notice Brookie still has one of her two piggies in her hair!! This is a good hair day for her at least!!!). She's so funny.

I also love this picture of Kendall and Ava. He was so sweet to buy her flowers the night before. I have never been so happy that I didn't recieve any flowers than when he told me that actually they weren't for me but rather for Ava for her special day. Melts my heart!!!!

Bestest buds. I can't even begin to say how much I LOVE having an 8 year old with and a new baby. It's such a relief at times to know that she can actually pick him up and carry him and watch him while I'm getting dinner ready or snagging a shower!!!! She's a big helper and really loves her little brother!!
