December 7th 2006 - Thank Goodness It's Friday ...

What a week. We've been hit with that nasty bug out there. Ava really didn't get hit that bad, just a little cold (no fever except on the first day) and just a little cough since. Mya got it the worst. Took her into the doctor to ensure it wasn't strep throat and later that evening she was back in with croup symptoms. They ended up giving her a dose of a steroid and then sending her by ambulance to the Hospital (as the centre here was closing). Poor little bug. She's just exhausted. We were discharge in the middle of the night and she was back in her bed by 2 am and had a good rest and is improving today (and she's so excited to tell us again and again in her mousey little voice... about her adventures in the ambulance). Brooklyn started tonight with a "leaky nose" so we'll see how things go with her. So far Kendall and I are in the clear but I can't wait for this to run its course cause I NEED SLEEP!!! (as if I'm going to get away with not getting sick on so little sleep these past few nights) And of course when it rains it pours. Today has probably been my craziest day in a long time as far as work goes (medical transcription) with reports coming out of the ying yang. What's with that saying anyway? Ying yang. I think it's dumb but I continue to use it. Speaking of dumb words... who came up with "fullscap" anyway?
