Wednesday April 16 2008 - SPRING!

Well, I haven't blogged forever. I know there have been lots of things I've meant to blog about but really can't remember what they are right now. Here are just a few pictures to show what we've been up to. A friend of mine inspired me to learn to make sock monkeys...and as a result, I've been making a lot (though mine look more like sock "monsters")! I've also just been enlightened that you can make sock zebras and elephants and dogs etc. so if I've got anymore in me I may just see if a friend will teach me how! I just finished making matching skirts for my girls. I think both Dane and Kendall were relieved that I did NOT make them matching floral ties! ha ha. The weather has been getting warmer. I am quickly learning that I have NO skill whatsoever with plants (which will become quite evident if you ever see my little flower beds). We are on spring break now which is HEAVENLY! We managed to clean (and steam clean...thanks Tan!) our van and it's carpets! We also cleaned the garage and I'm happy to say I'd even pratically eat off my garage floor. Well, not really, but totally the 5 second rule would apply out there!!! I LOVE how clean it is right now. Next week will be a whole new story I know! Our kids are having lots of fun being outside and playing with the children in the neighborhood! Even Brooklyn has been outside on her little trike....a LOT....which when Daddy is home with us is fine but come next week, I'll be short 2 eyes and she really shouldn't be getting used to such freedom!! Other than that, not much is new. We are really looking forward to going to Brooks to visit family and swim in the AMAZING indoor waterpark.. WE LOVE IT THERE!!!! Seriously the best ever! Brookie has been wanting to go to auntie Lan's each day and anytime we get in the van to run to the store or whatever.... she'll say her good byes to whoever's left behind and say "My go autnie Lans and go swimmng! Bye". Even Mya said "Oh, I love Brooks. I was thinking of moving there this summer for my birthday!" Glad she filled me in on her plans! I have also been a little enlightened (by Kendall) of some of the dangers of blogging. Anyway, I've decided that I'm going to make my blog available only to invited readers. I'm not sure how that is done yet...but maybe in a couple weeks when I sit down to post again I'll have figured it out. So if you want to leave an email so I can invite you to read it (if that's how it's done) then no problemo!!!! I guess I've just been a little frightened on how totally available our family info is out there. Besides, this may make mocking Chad a little more in my favor....cause if I don't invite him to read, he can't return with his witty comebacks!!! jokes of course. (I may just invite you too Chad!)
