Wednesday July 4th 2007 - THE COUNTDOWN IS ON...

Well, the countdown is officially on. Hard to believe we are so close to our move. But before that, I thought I'd share a few (well maybe more than a few) shots from the past couple of weeks..... Here's a couple from the Daddy Daughter Day that our ward had. Our girls had a great time. It was a LONG day for them and they all came home exhausted but had a special time together!!! I love this shot, cause it's so typical of Mya....being silly!!!
They hiked Blue Rock Trail and saw the falls.
Here's a shot of the cousins together (Chad and Heather's kids) at Big Rock for a picnic. Kendall tried to fly the plane but it was just too windy that day. Too bad.
Here's the last day of school. I didn't snag any shots of Ava's class but it was pretty emotional. We are sure going to miss this school. Wonderful teachers and friends!!! Here's Mya and her cousin Tanner on their last day. It was fun for them both to be in a new little pre-school (which was actually in the same school and only a few doors down from Ava's classroom). It was a fun year for them and pretty cool that these two cousins could be together through it!!!! Great memories for them!!!!
Here is Brooklyn....doing what she does best. She'd often run up to Ava's window and try to peek in to see her. Luckily, this was Ava's last day and she wasn't so much of a distraction to the kids!
Sadly, Brooklyn has learned how to undress (including taking off her diaper) but this shot was too cute so I just shot it anyway. These two have found all kinds of great hiding places in our house now that things are boxed up.
Here's a shot from this weekend. I almost didn't post it, knowing what our "uncle policeman" would say about it. We drove from the Stirling church to Great Grandma and Grandpa's house down the road. Total daddy's girl...snacks while driving!!!
Here they are swimming at the pool in Stirling. They rented the pool for the reunion this past weekend. I was glad Kendall went in cause it was so windy that day and there was no way I was going in that outdoor pool. We loved seeing Great Grandma and Grandpa Hardy. It was so fun to be at their place and enjoy time with family there!!! You could tell just being there, that lots of memories exist. I love the inside of their home, and the firepit was huge and it was actually my first time enjoying a little hot dog roast around the pit. The girls had such a great time!!!! One cool thing we did was made a rope (each different color representing a child/family from Grandpa and Grandma). So cool how it was made. Overall, we had a great weekend. We also went to the Raymond Parade but I was out of space on my camera by then. Brooklyn was hysterical and had a great time pointing and waving to everything. Maybe Tanis has some good shots from that day. It was fun being down and visiting with everyone and we are excited to move soon!!!!So now we've packed up almost the entire place. There are a few odds and ends left over but that will have to wait. I'm headed to YW camp for a couple of days...IF we can get all the loose ends with the lawyer tied up. I can't believe we get possession of our new place this week!!!!
