Wednesday February 21 2007 - WOW..This Blog is SAD!

So, I was just brousing blogs again today and happened upon this one. What a boring blog. Oh, ooops, it's mine. I have to say I have sort of missed writing in it but I enjoy reading others blogs so much more, so that's where my time has gone instead. So, here's a little up date on what we've been up to....

Prior to Christmas, I was scrambling to finish these matching jammies and bloomers. I so wish I lived in the day when "bloomers" or "pedicoats" were cool!!!! It was a surprise for my girls, however the surprise was on me...as Mya said she didn't like hers. She was particularly unhappy with the bloomers....I guess they just weren't cute enough (even after adding the red bows just for her sake). So, thanks to Grandma and Grandpa (who gave her jammies for Christmas) and also Auntie Lan (or Ryan) for the dress up clothes, Mya was able to ditch these jammies and wear something a little more to her liking to bed each night. Note to self.... Buy PJ"s next year. What a lot of work. This was the year for matching as I also wanted them to have matching dresses for once. With 3 girls, trying to get them to match is harder on my nerves and pocket book than you'd think....oh well...here's them as "matchers" on Sundays....

So we had a wonderful Christmas. Enjoyed spending time with family and of course eating WAY too much. We have had a couple new additions to our family....our new baby cousin Olivia who is even cuter than her sweet name if you can believe it. So sweet and little. Makes me wish I could just stop my girls from growing, of course until days like this....

When will she finally GROW UP to learn that "it isn't worn like that" (she far prefers it on WITHOUT a shirt and hiked up high) or when will she learn that these things with four legs on them are chairs...and that your bum sits on them instead of always getting up on the table!!!! She never sits at meal time!!! So, back to my original good news... brand spanking new news in fact....but my sister Tanis just had a healthy happy little baby girl...named her Jessica Marilyn Hardy. So sweet. Actually, just happened last night so I haven't actually seen her yet but I can't wait to maybe go tonight if she's sent home. But, I know she's cute. How couldn't you just as cute with such a fun big sister Abby (who by the way wanted to name the baby...Pinky dinky doo) and little Sam the man!!! It's killing me not being able to be there with her but at least I found out before my brother Chad!! jokes, sorry Chad, but I really do think she likes me more!! We've been enjoying some tobogganing lately. These next couple shots were taken one late afternoon on a freezing day....we've had much warmer (and funner...is that a word?) days tobogganing but of course without the camera.

Oh, and how could I possibly forget to mention that I now have a 7 year old. Wow, where did the time go?? It's crazy to me that she is that old. We celebrated her birthday on the actual day as a family...bright and early with Daddy before work as he had a late bball game to coach that night...

I love that she is still so in to animals. She loves them and is content with stuffed ones for now!!! These two were ones she just couldn't bear to see"have no home". She was devastated when we left them at the store...so I had to go back and save them when she wasn't looking. Then at the end of the week, we had a fun swimming party....sadly Idon't really have many shots to show from that day....

I made the mistake of asking my brother to take pictures for me that night and these are just some of what I ended up with.....

My kids are off school for the week and I am now being summoned outside to assist in the formation of a snow man so I better run. Now that could be worth waiting for a shot of!!!!! Stay tuned!!!!
